RadioPopper Jr.
Slated for development and release Summer 2008 - the RadioPopper Jr. should reinvent the world of affordable wireless flash photography.
If you're into wireless flash and you're on a budget, you've currently got two options. Current name brand wireless triggers are solid, sophisticated, and reliable - all the features needed by pros making a living with their lighting. But the extra bells and whistles do come at a price. Your second option are the more affordable flash triggers which have a reputation of being somewhat unreliable.
All that will change this summer, when the makers of the RadioPopper P1 do it again by bringing you a solid, quality built standard radio slave that is reliable and affordable on any budget.
How It's Built:
We're starting with a high quality radio transmitter and cutting no corners. Were then adding as little as possible to it. We're keeping the costs down, but not at expense of performance. You'll also be happy to know we're keeping all the work right here in the USA. We're not about to save a few dollars at the expense of an American job - that's just how we feel about it.
The resulting product will be super simple, no frills, and no polish. But it'll work like you expect it to.
We're going to keep that cost as low as possible, and the profit margin we do build into the product will go directly to finance future products to further better your life as a photographer.
So stay tuned and check the blog often. Once the dust settles from getting the initial shipments of P1's out the door, we'll make some progress on the Jr's. The product is pretty simple compared to what we've already accomplished with the P1's so it should go pretty quickly.
